Weight:

Flags weights will vary from 5.5lb (8ft teardrop flag kit) to 10lbs per kit (14ft teardrop banner kit).

Printing Process:

We use a quantitative digital printing process that allows us to print directly from content. This allows for good bleeding with colors from the front to the back of our traditional flags. Dark colors will have a better appearance on the back of your custom flag than simple colors.

Average lifetime:

With occasional use and proper care and maintenance, your custom flag should last for 3+ years. If used outside daily, the duration of your life will be about 1 year. This “tears” or “oar” of the flag absorbs more air than our usual flag feathers. Make sure you get indoors during strong winds to prevent your poles from breaking. For long-lasting foreign flags, we recommend our feather-making flags, flag flags, or rectangular flags. Their shape allows for more air resistance.

Flag Blurring:

 

Leaving your flag outside for too long will speed up the process. Occasional flags will be 4+ years old, taking into account proper care. If used outdoors for 8+ hours a day, your flag will need to be changed within 9 to 12 months. Countries like California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona, experiencing extreme heat and dry weather, will cause your flags to speed up.

Color Verification:

Colors often vary from your computer screen display (RGB colors) to actual flag printing (CMYK color mode). We are unable to provide any guarantees of color matching. If you specify colors, swatches can be ordered for a small fee. Using Pantone colors is highly recommended when designing your teardrop banner flags. Purple, blues, and reds tend to be the most deceptive colors and look very different in caution to man. No refunds or printouts will be provided for color variations.
